Day 9 Flight to Uluru

Travel day to the “Red Center”, Uluru (Ayers Rock).  Flying into Ayers Rock  we got our first glimpse of the massive monolith.  The Red Center is very appropriate for this area due to the bright orange/red color of the soil and rock. We seem to be having bad luck with the weather here in Australia.  This area is supposed to be sunny and HOT, but we arrived to temps in the 70’s and overcast.  Hoping for a better day tomorrow, starting with sunrise hike around Uluru that departs at 4:45am.  We then have another organized hike in the afternoon, followed by sunset on Uluru and dinner under the stars we were supposed to do this tonight, by decided to bank on better weather tomorrow).
